​Sue lives and works in the North East of England. She studied Illustration at Sunderland University winning many prestigious illustration competitions before carving out a successful career as a Freelance Illustrator producing a wide range of work, from capturing the diverse Natural history found around Coal pits before they were demolished and lost forever for British Coal, to painting the Historic buildings for the  local tourist industry. The next  few years Sue put her career on hold and went travelling around the world teaching and painting. With her love of the beautiful landscapes of the North East Sue was drawn back to start to paint them again. Since her return Sue has Exhibited her work in Durham Cathedral, The Bowes Museum as well as many local Galleries and for the past few years she has shown at Staithes Art and Heritage Festival. In 2021 Sue will exhibit at Art in the Pen.
