FOR THE LOVE OF BENCHES AND GARDENS
Benches evoke many memories for people and my love of benches started when I went out to do some sketches one day and sat down on a bench and thought, how beautiful the view was from the bench and the bench itself was in such lovely surroundings, so I decided to paint the bench as well as the wonderful vista. Thus my painting Staithes Harbour view became the first of many and has developed into quite an obsession.
