The Doors of Staithes
I absolutely love Staithes. From early childhood exploring the rock pools and the winding alleys leading to wonderful doorways and gardens, finding new and exciting things to draw. For a bit of fun I was inspired to paint the vast array of doors around the village which have changed very little throughout the years but what fantastic stories each one must hold. For me they bring back such a lot of precious memories of great family holidays.
